Customized Plan Design & Plan Implementation

The design of your Qualified Retirement Plan or Plans should be specific to your needs. We meet those needs by listening to our clients and providing Customized Plan Design options. This is often done in consultation with the client's financial and tax advisors so all subject matter experts are involved. Once a design is finalized we work with the client and their advisors to fully implement the Plan or Plans using the appropriate IRS pre-approved plan documents. 

Cash Balance Plans are perhaps the most underutilized retirement savings tool for small business owners with strong cash flow. If you are already maximizing an SEP IRA or a 401k Profit Sharing Plan, and are looking to maximize your retirement savings, then adding a Cash Balance Plan may be the right option for you. These Plans are particularly useful for sole proprietors, single member LLCs, or owner-only corporations. We provide Third Party Administration services for Cash Balance Plans from plan design through plan termination, including:

Plan Terminations

Qualified Retirement Plans for small businesses are typically designed to be terminated and rolled into an IRA either prior to or at retirement for the business owner. The owner then distributes funds as needed from the IRA in retirement instead of continuing to maintain the Qualified Retirement Plan. When it comes time to terminate your Qualified Retirement Plan or Plans we can handle all steps of the process, from drafting the plan termination documents to assisting with participant distributions and final plan tax filings.
